40 pounds is an impossible amount to ingest in the timeframe required to build up a toxic level.

Perhaps it's just barely possible to ingest 40 pounds of something in a day but I think doing so accidentally is not as likely as we're lead to believe.
Ok, Texas and the steak eating contests may be a diffrent scenario but even then it's not tens of pounds and hardly accidental.
