Heat the butter and bud seperately. The bud needs to melt into the butter first.
Or maybe you should try using hash instead?

The problem is that you boiled it. When you boil it you burn off all of the THC in the herb. You want to cook the butter on very low heat perferably in a double boiler then add the weed simmer on low heat for about 10 mins and then refigerate. Then it should be good to eat.

It's gotta be on LOW heat brotha..
I tried simply medium-low heat and the weed burned right away and I could smell that burnt smell and saw it was black and it was steaming (it should never create smoke/steam..) and realized I wasted the weed..
I still got a little high though but not as high as I could have been if I just set it to low heat.
And just use butter. Don't bother with milk..

You gotta remember that THC releases at a lower temperature than the other chemicals in the herb. If you heat weed up too much, it will carbonise (burn) instead of 'release'.
