What temp s the room?

You want to water when nearly all the soil is nearly dry... or, when the top 2-3 inches of your soil are DRY.. then you water...

When you water you water to thoroughly saturate your container with a water that you have adjusted the PH to 6.8.

Woohoo, 2 "I love you"'s for me! thanks for the kind words Garden Knowm .

My pot is about 15 inches across, and I'm using some of that very good soil to grow it in. you know the stuff, really light and fluffy and full of nutrients.
The room is just regular room temperature, though I assume the light will heat things up some (which the fan can even out). I don't think I'll be controlling the water's PH though, I wouldn't know how to measure it and I have no such equipment.

I'd love to post some pictures (of other stuff as well) but nobody can find the cord to the digital camera . But if I do I'll be sure to post it right away.

Oh and also does anybody know what "flushing" is and how I would do it?
