    Help with sprouting seeds.

    I've been trying to sprout seeds for about 5 days now and was wondering generally how long it takes to sprout seeds useing the papertowl method. Any advice or help would be nice thanks.:rasta:

    idk, it took me like 2 days
    to each seed their own

    depends how healthy the seeds were

    ive had them sprout in 24 hours and some 3-4 days

    i soak my seeds in a cup of luke warm water till they drop to the bottom, then pop them inbetween 2 moist paper towels in a ziplock and plop it ontop my pc screen

    Oh one more thing, should they be in a lighted room or a dark one?

    doesnt matter, they should be inbetween paper towels, in a baggie

    check on it everyday till majority of the taproot is out

    It can take up to 14 days.

    Normally its 2 -3 or less.

    Make sure the towl isnt soaking, but just moist. Put it in a baggie and seal the baggie, then place it on something warm like a tv and just leave it and check it untill it has a taproot.

    Place them in a DARK area. If one is not available, place a towel, or other object over the ziplock. To restrict light getting to your seeds.

    Though if you are using the papertowel method: seeds inbetween a couple layers of wet paper towels. I would recommend putting them into a tupperware (leave tupperware open a little (allows air to get into container)) then place in a warm area (top of computer screen is good, and then place a towel over tupperware.

    Yeah as long as they are in a dark place your fine....patience is the key....
