how would I put a hole for a slide in some clay or whatever, the clay isnt glazed over or anything either so it shouldnt be as hard. should I use one of those diamond drill bits or just the normal ones?

Clay? i would use a normal one.. with water maybe? start it with a light tap hole...... start small hole then get bigger

Im not sure if its clay lol, its the stuff you use to make flower holders and stuff in school, someone handed me one in the exact shape of a bong and asked if I wanted it lol

Be careful because if clay pottery is not made for humans to consume from,,it can be poisonous...

I knew a lot of people in artclass and they always did a lot of clay workings and a FEW of them made bowls, like cereal bowls. Anyway, the clay they used to make the cereal bowls and the clay that everyone else used was the same, but they were required to use this sealer before it went into the kinnel (think thats the right word). I don't know if it was because the clay was poisonous, if if he just wanted to make sure it came out smooth.

I'm just thinking why wouldn't it be safe. Not saying I don't believe you, Skink. Quite the opposite actually, I do believe you, BUT, what I'm saying is I don't think he's gonna be licking all over it and stuff, right? He's not going to use the actual clay as his bowl, right? And he's not going to be lighting the clay, just the weed. He'll be taking breaths through it, but....would that be so bad since he isn't lighting the clay or really....EATING OFF of it...?

For an explanation you need Alton Brown...LOLz... I just know from first hand experience that drinking from a clay mug caused memory loss in my Aunt... Irt was suggested by the doc at the time not to ever use homemade looking stuff for food consumption... I am going to say that smoking from it is not wise...

If you don't have a Dremmel it could be a bit costly... the diamond bit set was only 6 bucks and I have done about 20 holes so far with one set...

anything I can use that I have around the house, duct tape or anything like that, what the hell is a Dremmel too lol I should probably know this stuff but I never had a dad so i just started messing around with drills and stuff today....lol nevermind I just saw yer link

Dude, if you use a drill on anything clay, it'll crack. Simple as that. Even more so if it's not glazed.

Try getting like an exacto knife or something and cutting a hole where you want it, otherwise you might be stuck unless the clay is still somewhat wet and you can reform it and all that good stuff.
