Actually, you got to hand it to the guy, he (or Rove)has found a way to wiggle out of any sticky situation that may come his way. Clinton's problem was that he tried to worm his way out the Lewinsky thing first by lying and then by being apologetic. Bush would just say "Yeah, I did it, I'm the President and some intern gave me a blow job. I spooged on her dress and it felt good. If you criticize me your unpatriotic" and I'm sure the whole thing would be forgotten in a few days. Well, except for those who think that a President should do what is best for the country and not his ego. But then we're just childish Bush bashers. Right?
Good to read this Fengzi... Like you, I have several right leaning streaks in me, like my belief in fiscal conservatism. I've always felt that if you can't afford the cost then don't initiate the program. But the right's handling of fiscal responsibility makes me question whether they're responsible enough to handle the job... or visionary enough to invest in things other than war.
