Lies about the lies
Surely Iraqâ??s not all cookies n creme still a long ways to go, Still a bloody mess.. But its still about the Long War and thatâ??s what the neo-conâ??s agenda is all about..This is their war and I do think its going the neo-cons way The long war will go on for decades, and Iraq is the center of it all, theyâ??re not building huge military bases in Iraq for nothing.. I will quote myself---
Whats the republicans exit strategy, do they have one. there is no exit, this is The Long War, how long well they said 100yrs, better start producing babies. its why i think democrats dont have a chance.. They got their Pearl Harbor event in the name of 911 It forced America in this for the long war unless something radical is done to stop it then it will continue onward...The long war http://www.newamericancentury.org/Re...asDefenses.pdf
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Lies about the lies
I'm not crazy minnesota, and I'm not trying to insinuate that you actually condone child molestation. I'm just trying to make a point. That point is that Bush seems to do whatever he wants, be it illegal wire tapping, lying in order to invade a foriegn country, etc. and all he has to say is "I'm the President and I'm fighting the war on terror so it's ok" and the Republicans and conservatives just clap their hands and say "oh, guess it's ok then"

Bush would just say "Yeah, I did it, I'm the President and some intern gave me a blow job. I spooged on her dress and it felt good. If you criticize me your unpatriotic" and I'm sure the whole thing would be forgotten in a few days. Well, except for those who think that a President should do what is best for the country and not his ego. But then we're just childish Bush bashers. Right?

Fengzi, I just think the world of you. Truly I do. You're an excellent explainer and teacher, and I've thought that before and never told you so. Thank you for not only putting the whole blinds-wearing Bush devotion into perspective but also for doing it in a way with which I agree wholeheartedly.

Aww, thanks birdgirl. Sometimes I can offend people with my bluntness (sorry minnesota-I really didn't mean to say you condone child molestation) but I just call 'em like I see 'em. I'm glad that at least some people people can agree with my point of view

I like your bluntness. And I always find myself agreeing with you. You're very good at getting to the heart of the matter. It'd be fun sometime to just sit down and talk politics and travel.

Lies about the lies
Fengzi,
I know what you're saying and you're right. I do question some things but probably not often enough.
The thing about the war is that it's hell. It's controlled chaos. The war is on and for better or worse I'm going to support it until we win.
The terrorists in Iraq depend on Democrats pounding on Bush to strip away support for the war and I don't want to give them the satisfaction.
So I will question the U. S. government more often (but not about this war) if you and edge will question your news source more often. Deal?
