Whats Better? 2 or 5 gallon buckets?

Hey guys thanks for all the great advice. I can't stop reading on this board the information is massive but now I wanted some input.

i plan to do a drip system on fossil roks. the lamp i have is a 250w hps in a 4Wx2Lx5H cabinet.

i dont know what would be better:

2 FIVE Gallon buckets with mesh pot lids

    or

4 TWO Gallon buckets with 6in pots

    thanks

Or a 5 gallon with a 3 gallon insert for the grow pot.

Or double 3 gallon buckets (they sell them at Lowes) into a mini DWC set up. That would work too. The smaller buckets would give you more room for the plants to branch out.

right and I was looking at the 2 gal ebb and flow 6 site add on kits for the $500 system are only $70 shipped.. Which is a little over $10 per site but each site has 2 buckets and all plumbing already done.. and they fit together and look nice.. The 3.5 gal buckets are $5 each (i would need two) and then another $2 each for the fittings and tubing..

would 2 gal of hygroten each be enough to grow 6 footers?

I would SCROG 2 5 gallon buckets with DWC. Cheap, easy, low plant numbers.

Get black buckets, a couple net pots, air pump (bigger the better) air stones, 1/4 inch tubing and some connectors, and mount a screen right to the bucket lids that is 2x2 and there you have it.

That would have a control bucket already built too. Good choice I think those are called Ebb & Grow systems.

What's better, a big car or a small car?

If you can afford it financially and otherwise, in my book bigger is always better.

What are your goals? Do you have a small cabinet or a big warehouse? Weigh your options.

I need to work on my exhaust system, i read initially that you only need to replace the total cubic feet in 3-5 minutes. My box is measured at 40 cubic feet, the fan i bought is a bathroom fan mounted at the top of the box and rated at 70CFM. After reading posts i found out that it should be 3-4x more than your total cubic feet for proper ventilation. I am thinking of getting better bathroom fans rated at 120CFM with a rating of 1.0 sones (keeping it quiet as possible).

    comments/tips welcome

    thx guys
