Something else you all could do to reduce traffic is stop hosting images here and make people use 3rd party sites to host them. At one forum I'm on, we use PhotoBucket alot. It's a free service, you just upload your pics and include the approriate tag in your message (which is generated by PhotoBucket automatically...no brainer).
