Stop hosting images
I notice that you don't get the 'system is busy' message nearly as much anymore. That's a good thing. Something else you all could do to reduce traffic is stop hosting images here and make people use 3rd party sites to host them. At one forum I'm on, we use PhotoBucket alot. It's a free service, you just upload your pics and include the approriate tag in your message (which is generated by PhotoBucket automatically...no brainer). Now instead of using your resources for these pics, use someone elses!

Problem is when a member deletes his pictures or posts then you loose the information. When you link to threads out side or link to pictures outside of the site you run a very big risk of that site changing the way they link or upgrading their site to another language and then all those links are broken and then the information is lost and the post is of no value to anyone.
And yes that was a problem at OG when they tried it in the early days. That is why they hosted the pictures too and most other major sites do.

Stop hosting images
I just made a free little website with my very limited HTML knowledge and post all my pictures there.. no size limit, easy to use, etc.

not me...I don't want my piks anywhere but this site, when I post them, and opening files is a good way to get a virus opened up...No way!!!
