Women. Well when I was 21 they were women, now I'd consider them young girls. Think 17-22, that age range. There is a huge problem in Thailand with child prostitution but, although you hear a lot of stories about Western guys getting arrested for being with children over there, it is generally the Thais themselves who are victimizing the very young girls. If I wanted a young girl I probably could find one but it's not out in the open and offered.

This is in sharp contrast to the situation with the "adult" prostitutes. You can't imagine how many times I was offered their services. And not just in the red light district, everywhere in Bangkok. As a western male you can not escape it. Get in a taxi and the driver will offer to take you to his friends massage parlor. Walk down the street and some guy will come up to you and ask if you want a woman, or two women, or.. a boy. Shit, I went into a silk shop and the guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted a girl for "fuckee suckee" because his brother had a place. Trust me, it gets really old really fast. We were glad to get out of Bangkok and hit the beaches down south just to get away from it.
