Well if you are going to clone them I suggest you do it in the next day or so. Take the clones from the lower parts of the plant. It takes time for them to recover from a cutting. Taking clones is best done in the vegetation cycle when the N is at its best level. They recover faster at that point, so you know for the next time.

The clones taken from the lower parts will be small and need special attention but they should still root.

YES... Clone everything that is not going to produce decent BUDS..
which is usually everything below 12 inches..

Of course there are expceptions depeneding on how many plants, what kind of light, and the arrangement of the light(s).

Mastering cloning is one of the corner stones to great gardening!!

Can you clone without going hydro? I think hydro is actually away from me right now. So if I veg plants (good seeds) and take the cutting from the bottom, can I still clone using soil? what do I need to start cloning??? Please help for my future grows.

You need some rooting compound, like $7 for a tiny jar, first, cut from plant, soak cutting in water (just the bottom) for an indeterminate amount of time, cut the stem on cutting diagonaly at the bottom fresh after soak, dip like 1/2" of the stem bottom in the compound and stick it in a watered pot of soil, see if she takes. I wish cloning was like with willow trees, just break a branch and put it in a bucket of water for a week, then plant the stick when roots appear.

    high, tipsy, rant.....

    Sure you can.

    You will need
    Rooting hormone
    Anti-wilt
Jiffy peat moss pellets ( better choice then rockwool)
    distilled water
    CFL Cool white 6500k

With anti-wilt you don't need a hunidity dome and your success rate will improve.

This is what I have learned from videos:

You choose the lower branches below 12" and cut at a 45 degree angle and dip immediately in rooting hormone and dip plant leaves in anti wilt and pour distilled water on jiffy pellete. Then put the cutting in jiffy and then press lightly around the edges of the clone stem and trim leafs or support plant to prevent drooping.
Does that sound about right? Now instead of a cool white cfl, do you think that sunlight 100w cfl's from walmart would work for the clones? Now this is the easiest way to determine sex of plant that way if its female, I can keep producing little girls right?
