An awareness of these filters, and a recognition of the striking limits that they impose, allows for a refreshing freedom. People, situations, and our approach to life alter dramatically.

This controls who we are and makes it hard to be freely open minded. Any thoughts on this? Are you able to recognize these filters that have so much influence?

An example to this kind of thinking would be the pre judgements of race, the way someone dresses or where they live. Before even speaking to them or even knowing them. You take your thoughts from the past and instantly have them pegged for what they are. Or do you?
