You can always go the CFL (Compact Flourescent Light) if you don't go with a HPS or MH. Won't yield as much though.

Smith Victor Q60 light ok? my neighbor came home the other day with a couple lights he got for $5 each. they are marked as Smith Victor Q60, 3200 degree kelvin, 600 watt lights. i see the company sells them for $150. these seem to be close to the right range for flowering and i'm wondering if they pluss a couple cfl's i could get some nice plants going. if nobody says there is something wrong with these, i'm gonna try to buy them from my neighbor if i can. here is the link to the product: Rating: 5
