yes it is Possible. you`ll have better germ rates tho if you use a glass jar with distilled water, set in a dark, warm place. just put the seeds you want to germ in the jar with water, and check it now and then. the seeds should crack open and little sprouts will appear. i have had almost 100% germ doing it this way
