I didn't take any pictures of this, but to be more precise, I broke the top off of 3, when I was putting my vegged plants under a screen in my flower area. I didn't take any pictures because of course I thought they would die (the tops, not the plants). I'm not sure why I tried. I think I remember reading way back that this could be done if you do it right away. All 3 lived, including 1 that I was sure was not going to make it. I Know I didn't get the break aligned back into place properly, and it still made it. Just not as soon as the others. It looked like it needed water real bad for about 4 days, and then thrived.

This makes me wonder what would happen if you broke the tops off of 2 different plants and switched them. How about 2 different strains? I think this is essentially grafting, which I know is often done.

And breaking seems to work great, but would cutting be better?
Opie Yutts Reviewed by Opie Yutts on . Flushing! I finally bought a pH meter and tested my pH, it was pretty darn low. I went to Lowes and picked up some Espoma Organic Garden Lime and Espoma Organic Triple Phosphate. I added the Phosphate to help with flowering. I worked the recommended ammounts of the Lime and Phosphate into the top 2 inches of the soil. After adding the Lime and Phosphate, I placed the pots on my TOILET SEAT (flushed, literally, :D ) and ran 6 gallons of pH balanced water through each plant. I couldn't do it anywhere else Rating: 5
