Well, I think the media is a bit to the left but throughout history the media has stayed by majority on the side of the minority..
My lefties statement did come off a little narrow sounding. To put it better.. The left side likes to look at the immidiate direct impact. They see great american kids leave to go over there and then come back in a box. Nobody likes to see that.. but you need to take into account what happens in between the two. The right side likes to focus more on the job that gets done in between and not count all those boxes as being so important after the job is done. Neither of these ideals are correct in and alone.. There has to be a ballance. In the same breath where you say you dont want to see americans coming home in a box you have to also think about the reason it is happening and why in the end it is so important.
We are not dealing with a non-aggressive third world country that meant to do us no harm.. we are dealing with people who want to kill us and will continue to do so. If we leave now and try to turn a blind eye to the problem again it will not be long untill the next attack on our soil. Everyone wants this war to be over.. except maybe Halliburton.. but oh well. hehe
