This was a shitty situation for those guys they got abandoned and over run at their check point. Their squad leader I'm sure is having a hell of a time dealing with all of this between getting his ass reamed and his own consience but it could have been avoided. They came under attack there was 3 hummers total 2 took off trying to go get in the fight and the other one these guys were in got over run. their driver got shot and killed and they got taken hostage. No one will ever no what happened but odds are they were getting hit with rpgs and other types of explosives, easy to get confused and panic, your balance get's fucked up between that and the adrenaline it'd be easy to become disoriented and confused and make your self an easy target. I can't imagine any troops who'd willingly surrender to someone who you know is going to kill you I'd almost have to beleive they were knocked out or messed up and wounded badly already. attacks like this are only going to increase now that one has been successful but these situations can be avoided. May god accept them into heaven with open arms for they shall suffer no more. R.I.P. heros of the 101st your sacrifice shall never be forgotten nor taken for granted.
