It is hell.. and many of the people doing it dont have much of a choice.. if they didnt drop the bombs our government would put them in jail and then they couldnt raise kids in nebraska.. you cant exactly choose not to you know.. and if they were like me they joined before 9/11 and had no idea what was in store. Keep supporting the troops guys.. its not them that you are after. Its the suits in washington that make the decisions that screw everybody.. and I dont mean bush.. but if you have to... I understand.. just whatever you do dont blame the troops. They are doing so good over there.. and so much good for so many people. We found graves where millions of saudies were barried in an attempt at genocide by the insurgents against the serbs... MILLIONS of innocents murdered because they were the wrong religion.. thats what I think about when I sleep at night.. because as a Jew I can relate to what has happened there and the reason we must do what we are doing.
Im not trying to flame anybody but please.. if you really think in your heart what we are doing is wrong, please buy a plane ticket and go to Iraq and see for yourself.. It will probably be the most enlightening expierence you will ever have.. and well worth the ticket if you dont believe.

Well put Aaron. Knowm I'm not trying to start an online pissing contest over politics. whether you think we should be there or not be greatful for the men and women who are simply doing their jobs. Even better yet, let them know you appreciate it. http://www.americasupportsyou.mil/am...you/index.aspx
I've been to Pendalton and Camp Shelby to see my friends in the service before and after they deploy. Yes they are infantry and yes they have all killed other men. but they reconcile that with their own consience(sp?) because they have seen what it's like over there and they know if they don't do it it's just more men who are gonna die or themselves, and the longer this will all be dragged out. If you want an idea what it's like over the read this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/055...lance&n=283155
It's a real good book talks about the military aspect for a couple chapters then has a chapter talking about the politics at the time. Does that from April 2004 till about Jan. 2005. I wouldn't worry about the troops feeling bad about what they've done. They're all actually quite proud cause they can say they stood up for something and did the most selfless thing a human can do and that's put their lives on the line for a bunch of strangers both here and there. You may think they have a problem killing, and some do, but the majority doesn't. Think if you saw your best friend get shot in the face or blown up by a bomb, or even if someone just shot at you. don't you think you'd feel little or no remorse seeing those responsible for it be brought down???

WOW... this is the NICEST discussion about the war in WWW.COM history...
I don't think there is anybody to blame... I think we are all responsible.. I think each man is responsible for himself...
To recconcile the taking of anothers life... sounds extremely liberating... what else would be left... if you can forgive yourself for taking the life of another.. then you have achieved.. what very very few men have done..
The jouney inward even for the most noble and loving man is a journey of terror and hell... to reconcile one must go into the darkest corner of the mind... and slay HIM... slay him by doing NOTHING but watching HIM (the mind)
Very very few people have ever reconciled ANYTHING... there are stories of murderers on death row... and minutes before they get executed, it happens.. they find LOVE.. they reconcile
there are also stories of JEWS in concentration camps who love their captures as their own brothers and through this ultimate LOVE. they reconcile ALL with the world and ACHIEVE LOVE... GOD...
there are stories of armenians marching in the desert naked.. being raped repeatedly and finally achieving NIRVANA by not blaming anyone.. by not fighting back.. by reconciling...
there is a practicing vipassana monk alive today.. she was raped more than 100 times... in 2 years... she was raped into enlightenment.. finaly becoming aware .. finaly reconciling..
i really doubt that soldiers in the field have come to terms with their ACTIONS. the pain will be long and take many lives... possibly thousands to overcome...
if you wish to see this for yourself.. you to can sit still, react to nothing and go inward... it is all inside...
: )
finally i say.. live by this rule.. never ask somebody to do, what you are not willing to do yourself.. whether it be to suck the planet dry of all its BLOOD, to slaughter cows by the 10's of millions, to kill woman and children, to force chickens to live there entire life held in one place producing eggs, these are all things that we ask our fellow man to do...

But your right it's not the religion it's the people.
There are crazy christians too.lol
I've always supported the troops.
And as far as the war.
I don't think could have been avoided.
I think if we would have ignored the problem.
Things could be alot worse then they are now.
I am not on the side of war.
But I don't think it can be avoided in this type of situation.
If it was Hitler instead of Osama would you still care if he died.

You're right knowm this is the nicest discussion EVER!! Well if you go back in time the first terrorist were muslims. The hashshashin led by Hasan ibn-al-Sabbah. Here's a brief history http://www.skewsme.com/assassin.html
It seems like terrorist today are just repeating history. True not all muslims are bad people and the terrorist represent a radical few. But isn't it strange how if you look at almost every major hostage situation, hi-jacking, or what have you it's almost always been muslims. sure you have crazy christians(Davidian Branch-Waco which is a discussion all on it's own) too or jews or anyone else but the majority of these attacks are always muslims. I could literally probably find hundreds of situations online. And don't forget about Russia's Iraq, Chechnya. They've been feuding there for the longest time and Chechnya is a Muslim country. that's where the IED came from basically, and Chechens were and still are going to Iraq to fight the U.S. And those are the people who took that whole Russian school in Beslan hostage and killed 344 people mostly children. And Palestein who's been fighting with Israel for how many years. Now I'm not saying muslims are to blame for all world problems, like i said these are a radical few, but why is it they seem to be the majority?? Thoughts??

I recently saw an article on massive amounts of woman who were killed in the united states of america.. they were accused of being witches and affecting the weather and crop production... thousands of woman were killed..
i think the people who killed them were "christian" and maybe they were the worlds first terrorists..
I also read about a god that made it rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights straight.. weather modification.. sounds like terrorist activity to me also...
There were some "christians" ( i guess ? ) a coouple hundred years ago that went to AFRICA.. and grabed millions..... of people.. And then brought them to the North American Continent and forced them to work.. Not to mention, they were raped, beaten, and all around treated worse than animals at your local animal shelter are treated today.
I really don't think these people are christians.. Christians are good people.. that don't kill, that don't hate, that don't judge... Chirstians are accepting of the world and ALL their brothers and sisters.. Christians don't kill because they have faith that "GOD" will handle BUSINESS... Christians don't defend GOD.. for GOD needs NO defending.. GOD IS.. and to defend GOD is to NOT have FAITH... There maybe 1 or 2 christiansthat walk the planet... maybe you are a christian and I am blessed to be in your pressence... : )
i hope someday I am a christian... LOVING all beings...

Umm the muslim assassins go back to over 1,000 years ago. american's didn't do the things you talked about until a few hundred years ago and the whole point of america was freedom of religion so not everyone was a christian so i really don't get where you were going with that one knowm. I never said christians or anyone else was innocent. You take any group of people from any walk of life and there's going to be good people and bad people. That's just human nature
