Buying My First Glass Pipe
I'm buying a glass pipe soon, but I'm unsure of a couple things which I should probably know before making my purchase. First of all, what's the difference between inside-out glass pipes and regular ones? I heard inside-out ones are more durable, but I'm clueless on what the difference is besides that. Also, I read somewhere that color changing pipes give off fumes when heated, is this true? If theres any other things I should know before buying, let me know. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the inside out glass thing but if you want something that's durable then make sure its made of pyrex. I dropped my pyrex pipe about five feat onto a concrete flour and it just bounced. ill never drop it again cuz i love it so much but I'm glad i got a second chance

Make sure you buy from a place that does not use apprentice glass blowers. The dude at my local smoke shop is quite proud of this fact as his way of demoing the durability of the glass is to take a random pipe, bang it on a desk and then chuck it across the store.

i would be carful insanity. according to chameleonglass.com, every hit leaves residual stress on the peice and can eventually lead to a break. But I'm not no expert so maybe you should ask the dude.

Buying My First Glass Pipe
Now I just have to figure out what the best way to buy one is. I have four options:
1. head shop
2. buying online
3. buying from a friend
4. buying from my cousin
I can't get anything from a head shop since I'm only 16, and I would prefer to pick something out myself, so having someone 18+ get one for me wouldn't work. I don't want to buy from a friend since I would prefer to know the details of the pipe and whoever I purchase from probably won't know, and plus I want to get something new which isn't likely to happen if I buy from a friend. I don't like buying something like this online because my parents might find out if it gives any clues on what the contents of the package are, also I won't get to feel or inspect the product to see if I'll be satisfied with it. I could buy one from my cousin but he lives 250 miles from me and I might not have a chance to get over there for awhile.
I could probably settle for getting one online, but I would need to know the packaging they would use and what it would say on it. I won't have a problem using a credit card since I could just tell my parents I'm buying a couple CDs. Anyone know a good site/sites that would be good for my situation?Everything. Everyone. Well, I've been looking around for a good site to buy one from (looks like thats the best option I have), and I came across http://www.fatglasspipes.com/. They have a model called a "pee-nut" (picture: http://www.fatglasspipes.com/Peenutz...nt%20color.jpg), which is inside-out, made out of pyrex, 3.5" long, and is $32. Does it seem like a good purchase? Again, this is my first glass pipe purchase so I'm new to this stuff. Also, if anyone has bought anything from this site, would you recommend it?
I'm not buying anything online yet since I might have a chance to get something from my cousin, but if I don't I'll probably end up going this route.Everything. Everyone. Everywhere. Ends.

congrats bro ur first pipe is always the best. Have fun shopping around. Id go to a headshop the guys that work there are usually cool stoners and theyll answer any of ur questions as long as u dont talk about weed and call the bongs water pipes. I was just at a head shop and the guy behind the counter takes out a bowl and was like here catch and purposly threw it way too far to the right and im like OOO FUCK and tried to catch it and it dropped and didnt break haha he was showin me the durbaility.
O and the pic u posted illusional looks like a decent bowl. Go to the local headshop and see if u find anything u like more and if not get that one. It looks like a nice bowl. Good luck!Disclaimer: Any post I make is 100% true. I use illegal substances such as marijuana and definetly condone and recommend such usage. Happy toking!!! :rasta: :rasta: :rasta:
