Buying My First Glass Pipe

One way to go man is to have someone that is 18 (they can buy it legally) go to the shop and buy one for you. See what you do is you go there and just look around and eye out the one you want, then you just tell your friend that is 18 which one it was and they go in and buy it and that's all you need to do. I did this with my friend since i'm not old enough to buy one legally either. I gave him the money told him which one i wanted and he bought it. Simple and easier than buying off the internet. Using a parents credit card to buy a pipe is not a good idea in my opinion. Either way, Blaze on! :thumbsup:

I was originally planning on doing that, but then I heard some head shops don't even let minors into the store, and since the nearest one to me is 45 minutes away I wouldn't be happy to drive there then find out I can't get into the store to choose the pipe I want. I should call them and ask if anyone under 18 is allowed in if they are with someone that is 18 or over.

Mabye your friend has a camer phone and he can take pictures of cool pipes or something, then show them to you and go pick it up for you. I'm eighteen so I dont have to worry about this much, but head shops are the best place to but pipes, I think you get better deals there also. I remember when I got my first pipe I didn't wanna brake it sp I told my friend to get me a little case for it. It was only like 12 bucks and I've had that pipe twice as long as any of my other friends have had theirs.

My first pipe is still fully intact and i still use it to this day. I got another pipe for free that i don't use much because i don't think it hits as good as my first pipe that i got. If you take care of your pipe it will last a good time.

My first peice... I borrowed it out to some friends to use, whatever fine I was the only who had a actual bowl in the dorms! They go out and sit in a car and smoke. Campus sequrity comes and knocks on their window. Asking them what they're doing and they freak out. They tell them to wait in the car but they decide its a good time to split... They all run and they end up throwing my bowl somewhere randomly on capmus and call us and are scared out of their minds bla bla. The thin shatters and all they found appertnly was the bowl with the weed still in it. It ends up that they weren't even on campus when sequirty knocked on the door. He was actually dating a good friend of mine, apperntly hes very straight edge thinks weed is one of the worst possible things going on in the world today, drug propaganda what have you.

I just bought a chillum (I think), from someone I know for $30. I heard they hit better than pipes do and it was the only glass piece easily available to me, so I bought it. Here's a few pics:

Make sure you get a pipe cleaning agent, like 'Formula 420' that stuff works wonders, and is way better than scraping/boiling pipes. You just pour it in, cover the holes, shake for a few minutes (it says 1 minute, but its not THAT good, maybe if its not a thick buildup) rinse with hot water thoroughly, and you've got a brand spankin new lookin pipe! imp:

As soon as I saw her falling, I immediately looked away and left the room...I was pissed. It was a real nice pipe too, theres only 2 ever made, I should of bought the other one, it was exactly the same but about half the size. It was a double blown inside out color changer.

depending on how much you like to smoke at one sitting, is going to help you choose a bowl, I prefer pipes that are able to pack around a gram, and are deep enough to stick half of your thumb in. I used to pick them by how easy they were to scrape out clean manually, but since ive had cleaning agents, I don't worry about that anymore. Just make sure its not too short or too long, can pack a good amount, and is durable (pyrex or if easily breakable glass, alot thicker), and finally, appealing visually to your likeing.
