In a way it has already happened. Various states have different laws concerning knives, swords, throwing stars, stun guns...... California seems to REALLY have a hard on about martial arts weapons. Check out Bud K's site sometime and look at the states that they can't ship certain merchandise to.

I used to live in Iowa where you could have your stun gun on your belt all the time. In Wisconsin....No electronic guns/weapons allowed........but as long as it's in a sheath, Wisconsinites can carry a Samari Sword strapped to their back out in public! And the logic is?????
