I don't think 2 days in the dark will do too much, may get a tiny bit more resin. I just give them normal cycles till death, but some people I've heard put them in dark 1-2 weeks before harvest. I guess do what you want, some do it, some don't.

yeah i heard going 14/10 the last 2 weeks is good.

i go total darkness the last week of flowering , the plant thinks its fooked so it produces loads of resin to protect the flowers so it can get pollenated. it make the plants shine like made . i don't think it makes it any stronger but in the final week it helps the plant finish

Personally i wouldnt give it 2 weeks of dark. That will dramaticly reduce yeild, when really theres no need. I'd give it 2 -3 days of dark.

i can see how more than a day or 2 can affect yield.
i had in mind maybe a bit more stickyness. am thinking of making some finger hash.
more resin more hash!
so maybe a day or so might help.

I don't think it does anything.
2 days is not going to make your weed any better.
MJ takes alot longer then that to become more potent.
That will most likely be a total waiste.
I don't know one person who waistes there time with this.

Like depriving the plant of nutrients or oxygen, depriving the plant of light will reduce yield. These are things plants need. If they don't get them, bad things happen. Period. I don't know, maybe some good things happen too, like increased resin, but I've never seen it. I guess you need to decide if you want to take a chance on getting more resin on less weed, or for sure get then normal amount of weed with the normal resin amount.

That's one of the fun things about this forum. You get to see a great many differences of opinions and ways of doing things, then decide for yourself which one is right for you. If the THC hits your brain you did it the right way.
