Music to listen to while high
Sufjan Stevens.
He's a musician making an album for each of the 50 States of America. So far he has completed Michigan and Illinois and both albums are amazing.
Please, cretins, someone tell me you've listened to him. You just cannot understand the wonder of his music with my mere words. Download some of his songs (but better yet BUY HIS ALBUMS), smoke, and listen to that beautiful, beautiful music.
Cretins.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.[/SIZE]

Lords of Acid are by far the best thing to listen to when you are totally blazed out of your mind! It is so damn trippy to listen to. I got a pair of noise cancelling headphones and they produce hella good sound, so i turn that shit up and i feel like i'm in a differnt world. Trippy stuff

I don't think he'll ever make all 50 albums either, I don't.
I do not feel, not for one second, that the albums are gimmicky or overrated. There is such stirring force in a song like "The Tallest Man, The Broadest Shoulders" that other music to me seems to pale in comparison. I implore you to take a second listen to the music, forget bias, forget hype, and allow the music to reveal itself to you fully. This is not merely a chance to make 50 albums by a calculating musician, this is the catpure and demonstration of the voice and the heart of America's diverse regions.
Yes, "indie" audiences seem to be riding the Sufjan wave the most at the moment, but do you honestly think this music would not be popular on a massive scale if more people were exposed to it?

i guess sufjan just didn't really float my boat, and the fact that all the douche bags at my college cream their pants over him makes me not like him even more.
however, i think everyone should listen to the new RX Bandits album "..And the battle Begun". its kind of a funk ska groove kind of band. i've listened to the whole album for the past 3 sessions i've had. insane musicians. here's a link to download the whole album:

I recommend by far the 60's 70's phycedelic/rock music. Guys, this music came from the greatest guitarists of all time who put their weed-loving minds into making the chillest and most mind-bending music of all time. Ready to trip? try:
purple haze, jimi hendrix
sunshine of your love, cream
can't you hear me knocking, the rolling stones <-----oh ya
magic carpet ride, steppenwolf
revolution, the beatles
slow ride, foghat
come together, the beatles
american woman, the guess who
hope your feelin better, santana <-----will feel like ur in that 70's show
and last but not least...
blinded by the light, by manfred mann's earth band, i cannot stress this one enough!
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL GUYS
