P.O. BOX TROUBLE
Why not just go to a local barnes and knobles. I went to mine and they have all sorts of horticulture books there. I purchased Ed Rosenthals Indoor High Yield Guide there and it was only like $23. It would be much safer to do it this way then online.

but even going to a store can be a problem. operation green merchant had dea parked across or around parking lots where grow lights and equipment are sold and 100's were busted with that! so even driving to your local store has its own hazards...
but books are different, at least for now...

P.O. BOX TROUBLE
Thanks for the help by replying (Jdog7000, latewood, sacred haze)
I would never be able to find any really good smoke with seeds in them, because the best doesn't have any seeds, except for some good Mid. I'm going to go, as soon as I get a chance, and open up a P.O. Box of my own. Thanks for the help!Originally Posted by GaGrown
You should get some of the best possible smoke money can buy! Hope there is a seed or two in the sack. You should be able to get a P.O.Box of your own. Then there would be no worries, huh? Hell I got 1.Works well for me.I open it and get my mail and leave! That coulda been the way you would have done it.Just a thought! Good luck with the recovery!
I guess that I really did out-think myself, but I was just a little paranoid. I shouldn't have been paranoid over a book. My friend opened the account, but she said that I would have to be a sibling to get mail from her P.O. Box address. I emailed FS Book Co. and they said, whenever the package is returned, they will resend the order to a different location and name once I send them the money for shipping. The reason FS Book Co. couldn't leave the package without a name was because of all the trouble due to 9/11. My friend said that she would still try to convince them to let her get the package. Thanks for the input!Originally Posted by latewood
the problem is...you out thought your self...It is just a book, I ordered mine used, but new from amazondotcom for 10 bucks. By using a bunch of names, you bring attention to yourself??? who opened account...could you possibly go there and get box contents from a clerk that recognizes you as boxholder? goodluck...
I definitely will add a couple of other names to the P.O. Box address and possibly a company. Thats a great idea to send all subscriptions and other things to the P.O. Box as well. Thanks for the helpful information!Originally Posted by m.g.
next time you're at the post office let the person behind the counter know you need to add another name to your box. have a company name ready or the name of your 'new room mate' and print it on the line below your name. it works great and you'll never lose another package as long as you don't forget the name...
it's also a good idea to keep mail coming in that name...like any magazine subscriptions, freebies, coupon mailers, you know...sign up for all the free stuff you come across that requires a mailing address and keep that box busy!
I never knew that Barnes and Nobles sold books involving growing Mary. If I would have known that earlier before I tried to order from FS Book Co., I would have went there first. But since I already paid for the book, I might as well wait until it comes in the mail. Thanks for the info!Originally Posted by sacred haze

If the DEA could be waiting outside of a local grow store, couldn't they be waiting outside of a local Postal Office??? If they know that books, beans, and other grow equipment are coming to this location, wouldn't that give them reason to follow me???Originally Posted by m.g.

most companies are very discrete when dealing with sensitive material and i know for a fact fs books are one of these...years ago, before the net even, i ordered and received mel & ed's spiral edition grow book and it came fully covered with no hint of what's inside and a neighbor recently ordered cervantes' book and they still use the same method.
just pick a reasonable and sensible company name and add it to your box. adding several will only raise eyebrows and you can say you're getting involved with ebay selling and buying if they ask any questions about your new biz name on the box and they might think it odd you coming in asking to put another name on the list when that person could have just as easily done it. set up an email account with same name and shop it around at various sites that mail catalogs and other free stuff and if you do ebay, set up an account there and start buying stuff to be sent in that name to that box.
