www.buylighting.com has parts they sell to build your own for a lot less than that. for example,1000w with bulb socket and ballest 200.00.
check it out.
also look at the cfl stock, you might find somthing ther that amuses you.

Maybe next grow I'll add a second but how will this light do for me? Also what would I need to get to get it to run off of a standard grounded plug in. I'm no electrician but I am mechanically inclined so if some one can show me an easy way to do it and tell me exactly what I need I'd be very greatful.
