Was at a Concert - Need Info on What I smelled/saw...

My guess is they were using a chillum and smoking weed mixed with flavored tobacco. They were probaby trying to be stealthy and the tobacco would help to cover up the smell of the weed.

Fengzi - I'm thinking you're right. I don't think flavored papers would do that? Either way - it worked.
I just can't figure out the cigar smell part though.

Graph - No, no one was smoking a cigar! I was interested because it was remarkablely stealthy. They didn't just take a few hits, they were smoking the whole show and I barely smelled it standing next to them. Most times, I smell it when I'm 15-20 people away. Instantly. They obviously had this figured out and it intrigued me.

could have been hash as well, maybe thats why you didnt get that all bud taste. sounds to me like they had a glass blunt, and a hash and tabacco blend.

The cigar smell probably came from the fact that they used flavored tobacco, which smells more like cigars and pipes because it doesn't have all the additives of cigarette smoke. I'm actually confused as to why you are still confused.

i bet it was just a glass chillum or one hitter, sunds like what your describing, they were probably either smokign really good weed that tasted fruity, or they were trying to mix the dope smell with some flavoured tobacco

have you seen a glass blunt before? if you had i think you would agree with me, i dont own it, my neighbor, who just happens to be a hook of mine as well as my boy, does but let me try to explain it:

it has three parts, just like a pipe
the chillum part is long like a blunt and the bowl part is the length (or almost) of the chillim part.
then the mouthpiece is shaped like a rattlesnakes' head and is long so you can shove the bud up.
then there is the rubber thing, but i have seen glass, that holds it together and slides the two pieces together smoothly.
so you load it all the way to the bottom, and then the mouth piece would stick way out and as the bud burned in the glass chamber, you pushed the mouthpiece up and ash it like a blunt. looks like a crack pipe though. i would not want to get pulled over with that on me
