    I'm not 100% sure, but I do know that most outdoor harvests are done early in the morning. Light degrades THC. So this may be why it is done at night.

    the full moon? eh...less chance of tripping in the woods...but could be excess time to wait if that's what you're relying on and the timing is off.

    i do mine in the am...no real reason. but sometimes i hang the plant right after pulling with the roots still on so ya gotta wash em unless ya want dirt falling onto your flowers.

    and there is no "must"...just K.I.S.S. and whatever fits into your life.
