hey can someone help me? on some of the leaves, there is some little white dots on it. sort ove looks like dots of flour. whats causing this and how can i fix it?

people wont answer ur ?'s without pics....post a pic and some stats
-i.e. room temp watercomposition, etc..there are sometimes multiple problems due to something simple like running ur water pump too long or it being to hot in ur grow area

this is an outdoor grow....in southern california so temp is around 80+ degrees.

Many things might be causing it.

Sounds like it could be spider mites if the dots are very small. Look on the under side of the leaf with a magnifying glass to check for them. Outdoor grows get mites too, especially in your climate.

Could also be other bug damage.

Could also be fert burn or deficiency.

Could also be mold spots, but not likely with your temps. Do you keep them too damp?

Or it's the leaves trichomes. Even seedlings that have just sprouted, even the cotyledons have trichomes on them.

mealybugs can cause powdery looking white spots. I have never seen them on weed but I had a big problem with them on a coffe bean tree I was growing indoors.

Rub the white stuff between your fingers. Is there a tiny worm-like critter in there?
