Hey make sure you have a lawyer before you talk to the police again no matter what they say.. you have to be stern but polite with police. I wouldnt go around destroying everything in site.. like your hard drive.. you were growing pot... they know that.. dont screw yourself over more than they are going to.. remember it will probably just be a fine but make SURE you get a lawyer..

It would be very valuable to find out exactly how they fingered you.. Im about to leave the growing seen in a hurry if it was paypal and ebay that screwed you.. I bought everything from there.. thought it was just rumors and shit..

I will sleep on it.. but im thinking that tomorrow im going to "weed out" my hydroponic veggie garden.

Dont: Roll on your buddies that grow.. if you show them that you know others who grow they will just make an even better case against you saying that you were part of a network or something... your lawyer will explain that to you.

Also dont freak out.. people are busted every day for growing pot.. make sure you have a lawyer but dont freak out.

And to anyone else out there that reads this: If the police dont have a searc h warrent it means they dont have enough evidence for reasonable cause to get one.. they are just rattling your cage.. PLEASE.. respectfully inform them that you will be using the Bill of Rights today and refuse their enterance without a search warrant, but that you will be glad to allow them in when they do have one. Keep it short, sweet, and to the point!

In this scenario, most likely they will go to the next guy on the list paypal sent them of the 10 million ppl that order hydro equip and claim they smell pot growing.. otherwise they will show back up in a few hours with a warrent.. maybe even less time than that.. but by then.. your garbage grinder should have taken care of any of the evidence.. and make sure your digital camera is cleared out too.. You might lose your stash but you will live to grow another day.. dont worry about losing the hydro equip either.. just lose the bud and TRY to get rid of the smell and any kind of clippings or seeds..

But think about it first ok.. The cops show up with no warrent.. they are poking around in the dark with a stick.. they can sound VERY convincing.. say no and shut the door!! Dont even listen to their threats.. its ALL B.S.! They were never going to bust this guys wife and kids for a couple pot plants.. I know meth heads that are continuously busted that still keep their wife and kids and everything.. untill they sell it all for meth.. but whatever..

The moral of the story people.. be strong.. SHUT THE DOOR.. or never open it in the first place.. If they have a warrent, when they knock on the door they will say "WE HAVE A WARRENT" and they will make it very clear before you even open the door that they have a warrent to search.. If they dont do that.. DONT OPEN THE DOOR.. they will get tired of knocking and go away.. I have seen this work multiple times! People dont answer the door for cops in my neighborhood almost ever.. so it is very routiene for cops to stand there knocking on a door and screaming at all hours.. pisses me off.. but the smart ones never open the door.. anyone who opens the door generally goes to jail.. with all the people out there who WILL open the door.. they normally just forget about the ones who dont.. Now be the one that doesnt!

I used to do electronic discovery for the legal industry. They can pretty much get anything off of a computer but it is going to cost a fortune. I have never heard of them doing this for a small operation and wouldn't be that concerned about a computer seizure. Sucks to get caught though. Hopefully your state is somewhat progressive with the laws. Good luck.

i use local peer to peer classifieds and i pay all my hydro shop in cash and they know i study horticulture (school) and specialize in genetic breeding and use hydro for being faster

I agree, that something smells very fishy.. DO NOT ROLL ON ANYBODY>. Judges don't like someone who does that. I went thru the legal system many years ago, and i was told the same thing.. give us 5 people for every charge, and we'll get you probation. My attorney said, they have no authority to make agreements like that, and not to listen to them.. I did what my attorney said, and I still got 5 years probation. I did the crime, and did my time. I took no one down with me. Something tipped them off, all right.. If your grow was that big they smelled it, I would have to believe, they need to have a warrent to search your house, at a minimum, In order to search, they have to know where the booty is located..(You will find out how they figured it out, it's called disclosure, as they have to provide, why they did what they did. Your attorney will get it for you.). I am sure this and all sites like this, are watched by big brother, to some degree, as growers are a "threat" to national security. I don't know, that Ebay rolled on you, as there are many legit reasons, to have hps, or MH lights .. I have a MH light in my workshop, it's brighter than fluros.. and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.. I was paraniod when i started my box, but i realized, that HEY.. there is no law against a hydro garden, but in many locations, it's what is grown that is illegal. These sites, have the best info for hydro gardening i have found on the Net. My wife loves her flowers, and I love my veggies.. I know what it feels like to be arrested.. and it's very scary. Just listen to your attorney, and be honest with him..

btw, i an not sure if it's really illegal search and seisure, since you let them in and took them to where you were growing.. You pretty much rolled on yerself.. Why would they take your sat tv equipment.. I hope it wasn't someone dressed a cops, just trying to steal your shit.. That does happen too.

ive had feds look at my hard drives ...i had a program that removes all with no traces of anything ...youll need to format it to get it to work again ...or you can just get a electronic magnet and wipe the hard drive ...the question is ...did they have a warrant or did they just say they would get one?
