    Hmmm...interesting lol

Ok, I was smokin like a couple of mins ago and finally realized, it's those little glands on cannabis, those little micro glands that are making this major impact on how I feel, eat and all that good shit etc. so I took the time to look up info about them and they claim this is how trichomes developed on cannabis plants...

However, the intercession of man in the natural selection process has rapidly accelerated the favoring of genotypes that produce copious amounts of THC laden trichomes. In addition, THC has very high UV-B absorption properties, thus cannabis evolution may have favored the evolution of genotypes that produced these THC laden capitate-stalked trichomes as a built in 'sun-screen' for protection against UV-B light rays.
Thats fuckin' cool and interesting :stoned:.

hmm, so basically what i'm getting is: trichomes are a special kind of "sunscreen" for the cannabis plant to protect itself on account of the larger amounts of UV rays, correct? well, if i understand this correctly, then if we want better bud, then we need more holes in the atmosphere, right??? right???

/goes outside and sprays as much aerosol as possible while burning copious amounts of gasoline on a huge ass rubber fire

My friend who lived in russia most of his life told me about this. In russia when planting crops they put 1 crop then a marijuana plant then 1 plant and then another marijuana plant and so on down a line. They do this because the insects are killed and deterred by the marijuana plant! Freaking sweet if you ask me :rasta:

Most of the alkaloids in plants, from cannabis to tobacco to shrooms to coca and Mimosa, are there to prevent insects eating them, try and blow some very potent tobacco on a fireant and watch it convulse, they hate the stuff.
