i won't know all the pieces to the puzzle that led to my friend's predicament but it appears from what you described that if you're missing a package (granting it was sent out), chances are customs got it and your name/address then gets flagged. at what point you get a 'visit' would depend, i'm guessing, on the volume of seized packages in your name.

Yup..you cut to the chase,and what would make it even worse,is if the cops could prove that one was paying for the packages,in my case,I was too broke to be paying for anything,all of my packages,were gifts of compassion and not even sell-able amounts. I would also add,be careful of what one asks for and where one does the askin at..because it could lead directly to trouble..as I,naively and foolishly, found out.

Torog Reviewed by Torog on . for torog i saw an old post of yours from last year about a friend who got 'visited' coz he was getting a number of packages in the mail from overseas. i'm curious - were his visitors feds or local leos? did he get charged? a friend of mine who's missing a number of packages from overseas just got 'visited' by local leos. he freaked out and gave up his stash (i don't blame him). if they're indeed local leos (i have my doubts), i'm guessing that packages (especially from a'dam and western ca) are Rating: 5
