    Post-al-Zarqawi raids kill 104 insurgents

BAGHDAD, Iraq - American and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 raids since last week's killing of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and 104 insurgents were killed during those actions, the U.S. military said Thursday.

Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, said the raids were carried out nationwide and led to the discovery of 28 significant arms caches.

He said 255 of the raids were joint operations, while 143 were carried out by Iraqi forces alone. The raids also resulted in the captures of 759 "anti-Iraqi elements."

Cause justice is the one thing
    you should always find
you got to sattle up your boys
you gotta draw a hard line
    when the gun smoke settles
    we'll sing a victory tune
and we'll all meet back at the local salloon
We'll raise up our glasses against evil forces
singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses:thumbsup:

See how some of "them" hate any good news, if it's good for America/Bush. The political platform of hate, lies and jealousy failed them in 2002, and 2004, they never learn.

THAT is the biggest problem with the Dem. party these days....it's not about a platform or what they are for....it's all about taking the opposite stance of the Rep. party...DAMN, what about independent thinking? LOL...even Hillary is getting boo's from her own party based on her stance on the withdrawl of troops from Iraq.

    Have a good one!

One of the biggest, they have plenty of problems. Not only Hillary but Lieberman might run as an independant too. Evidently, it's a tiny tent party. Imagine that...much like these forums where, if you dare not agree, the "progressives" attack. Didn't they used to be about tolerance and opend-mindedness? What happened to their "values?"

How many children died compared to the 104 Insurgents?

If we would have never invaded Iraq there would be no terrorists there. Iraq is a breeding ground for terrorism. There was no Al' Qeada in Iraq before 2003.

Nonsense, al-Zarqawi fled to Iraq when the shit hit the fan in Afghanistan. The WOT isn't narrowly focused on al-queda despite the narrow-minded view of a few ignorant pacifists.
