left my first post asking about screening devices and what are their capabilities/ just registered.
I'm leaving very soon for amsterdam and I'm hoping to visit haarlem also, 15 mins or so outside 'dam;
hearing lots of good things about haarlem aka hempcity. Won't smoke up a storm while away, I'll pace myself and bring small amount home for personal use.
I'm of the opinion that smoke, in all of it's beautiful forms should be decriminalized. I'm rather conservative about most things & I'm a law and order kind of person but not when it comes to the war on drugs i.e. cannabis.
Yes, hard drugs are bad and everyone knows it but smoke is similar to having a cocktail after a hard day at work. When people criticize me for my pro-cannabis stand, I like to make this analogy;
when was the last time you heard or read about a man getting stoned on weed/hash and going home and beating on his wife, girlfriend, kids etc? How about this; how many women get high on weed and then abuse their kids, beat them in a frenzy, cussing and wailing them silly? How many people smoke weed and then proceed down the street yelling obscenities, destroying property or hasseling total strangers?
Nope, not that either. These things and more are common with alcohol and liquor is legal. I'd like to think that in my lifetime I will live to see the repeal of drug laws as they pertain to smoke. The netherlands is permissive, maybe too permissive, with mushrooms and prostitution but they sure got it right with their coffeeshops!
