Sugestion needed..

if u had a couple of 18w tl´s and a 400w hps what would u use for veg???i ask this cause i was planning to use the tubes, but someone told me to go hps all the way....what do u experienced ppl advice????tks for the help

I'd use the HPS all the way through the grow!

Why not use both? HPS (unless it is one of the multi-spectrum bulbs) does not have the proper color for a good healthy grow by it's self. Yes it will but there is a noticeable difference in the plants and the yield is not as high as it could have been.

You can use both of them the T5 bulbs would be good sidelight and could provide the needed color spectrum for you to have a successful grow.
