Metal Halide or HP Sodium?
I was so used to using HPS that the metal halide seemed weak to me. but I was using a 400 watt CONVERSION bulb, wich I found out really only gives about 250 watts of power on the metal halide. Well that was great for gettiong the plants started, now I'm back on the 400watt hortilux HPS bulb & I even added another 400 watt set up!

I have tried a metal halide lamp for the first time recently, and didnt think that it gave me as good results as my previous choice of bulb (HPS). I heard that MH were better for vegative growth, and to swap to HPS for flowering, is this true?? Any advice would be most welcome! cheers. Rating: 5
