i coughed up blood this morning...should i get cheaked out?

i just got out of the shower this morning and i coughed like i normally do...but this bloody mass came flying out...looked like skin as well.
ive always thought coughin up blood is really serious...

and over the past few days ive had heaps of flem in my throat but i just swallow it...

i smoked THREE 30 packs of smokes in less then 12 hours on my 18 party a few nights ago, but usually a pack of 30's in 2 days and i smoke dope daily...mostly through bongs and i do hold in the smoke for a long period and take big tokes. i also smoke the strongest smokes i can get (16's)

it might be wise to see a doctor?..could it be lung cancer? (which 2 of my freinds alreaddy have and they are only 17...im 18)

advice anyone?

and dont say quit cause i wont.

im not sure what is wrong with you exactly, but i hope you get better.

but mabey you could try rolling joints with weed and a little tobaco, and try to replace cigarettes with weed, but i dont really know how hard it is to quit smoking cigs. (i only smoke cigars occasionaly, not cigarrettes)

yea thats an idea, but it would be a hassel as im used to having a ciggy every 10 mins, means id go through alot of pot!

it all comes down to will power when quitin, and i admid i dont have that when it comes to addictions.

i'll just try and cut down i recon, and smoke 8's instead of 16's

Acording to the National Institutes of Health you should go to the doctor ASAP. Check out the link, it has a lot of info on conditions that can cause this.

i doubt it's serious at your age. I'm 18 myself. and the obvious reason your coughing up blood is because you smoke way to much and your throat and lungs can't handle all that toxic. when u cough a lot you break little blood vessles in your throat that leak blood causing some blood to be in flem. But overall the bottom line is you really need to cut back as much as possible unless your purposely trying to KILL YOURSELF.
