i coughed up blood this morning...should i get cheaked out?
Get to the doctor and tell him everything you've been smoking and get a chest X-ray. Hope it's nothing. Coughing up a bloodly mass isn't a good sign, but instead of cancer it may simply mean you've had a touch of bronchitis or pneumonia. Folks with tuberculosis often have this symptom, too, and TB cases are on the rise.
Of course, you can just let it slide and do nothing. If, as you say, you won't quit smoking no matter what, then I guess it's safe to assume you have a bit of a death wish. You ought to go in, though, to have yourself checked because if it is TB, then you're contagious and are putting others at risk.birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . i coughed up blood this morning...should i get cheaked out? i just got out of the shower this morning and i coughed like i normally do...but this bloody mass came flying out...looked like skin as well. ive always thought coughin up blood is really serious... and over the past few days ive had heaps of flem in my throat but i just swallow it... i smoked THREE 30 packs of smokes in less then 12 hours on my 18 party a few nights ago, but usually a pack of 30's in 2 days and i smoke dope daily...mostly through bongs and i do hold in the smoke for a Rating: 5\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

i only question why you are seeking medical advice in a cannabis forum?
you should always, always see a healthcare professional when you think something is wrong or abnormal..never search any website for information, for your safety..

My guess of what it'll turn out to be - a bloody nose in the night when you were laying on your back, which you inhaled and otherwise sucked inward, and in the morning (it was morning both times), you caugh it up with your phlegm.
... but then, I'm toasted.

Coughing up blood with what looks like skin isn't good at all. There is a slight possibility some lung tissue was hacked up.
Yes, I would suggest you see your doctor and let him/her know what's happening. It could be nothing/it could be something. The best thing to do is get checked.

Your doctor is not there to judge you or go running to call the police on you.

Always always always tell your doc everything you put in your body. It is very important.

She was calm about it while everybody waited on her hand and foot while the others nervously awaited their results.
I certainly hope and pray that this rise doesn't get out of hand or there'll be big troubles looming in the future.

It is scary, isn't it? And much of the TB that's becoming more prevalent is the drug-resistant kind, so it's harder and harder to treat and/or cure. Down here in Texas, we've got so much of it that they routinely screen every single person who walks into an emergency room. Poor folks and people who live in very crowded conditions seem to be at the highest risk, but anyone can get it. In third-world countries, it's a downright epidemic. Scary!

Giving up smoking isn't about willpower at all its simply about not buying them. If your around people who smoke then you got slim to no chance of quitting. If you are the only smoker you know its more than likely you can eradicate smoking from your lifestyle by simply not buying them. If you don't have any how can you smoke? Only one in a million can quit smoking from will power alone when they are constantly surrounded by fags.
