Big Calhoun Reviewed by Big Calhoun on 06-14-2006. i coughed up blood this morning...should i get cheaked out? i just got out of the shower this morning and i coughed like i normally do...but this bloody mass came flying out...looked like skin as well. ive always thought coughin up blood is really serious... and over the past few days ive had heaps of flem in my throat but i just swallow it... i smoked THREE 30 packs of smokes in less then 12 hours on my 18 party a few nights ago, but usually a pack of 30's in 2 days and i smoke dope daily...mostly through bongs and i do hold in the smoke for a Rating: 5

Call the doctor. Tell them everything except about the weed. That's my opinion. I don't trust doctors with my marijuana usage. I am not a doctor but it sounds like something you should check out. Prolly not cancer but prolly due to the ciggies.

WTF, do you live near chernobyl (sp?) or some other horrific chemical or toxic spill...?? those kids need to get their homes checked for asbestos or something...mesothelioma...

Seriously, it does sound like you live in a bad area and should get out ... it's not normal for kids your age to be having lung cancer and the like. Mesothelioma IS a real concern. Anyway, yeah, definitely talk to your doc ... personally, I'd tell him about it all, including the pot. If he gets weird with that, see another doc. Leaving it out could be a bad bad idea.

Have you considered vaporizing your tobacco whenever you're at home? It'll at least reduce some of your tar and carcinogen intake.
Also, I had one idea on quitting smoking. I've never smoked cigs myself but it was just an idea. What if you did it by counting how many cigs you have in a day, then every day reduce it by 1?
plus I know LSD has had huge sucess with alchoholism and personal emotional issues, maybe you could try that when you quit, put things in another perspective.
