Bleeding [HELP] Hey, ok, i supose all of us guys have done it once, i closed my garage door onto my head, and from what i can see in the mirror, i got a gash about 1 and a half inch long, its not so deep i can see bone, but i know that any head cuts tend to bleed alot. Well this bitch has now covered in blood, and its been going for about half hour. It's starting to stop now, but its still bleeding enough for me to be a little concerned cos im not sure how much blood i lost, maybe a pint, but like i said im Rating: 5

Ok, i just got back from A+E, it was quite quick actually for England, only took me just over 6 hours to get seen, and about 10 mins to get it sorted.

I got some Valium but i just feel tired and groggy, i mean, they didnt even give me enough pills to get any kind of high.

It sucks, and according to them, because of the force of the garage door, its wise if i dont go to sleep for 24 hours, which sucks...

I'd have thought sleep would be good, but i know that sleeping after a hard hit on thr head can stop you breathing, so looks like im gunner be ok.

lol i never go to doctors for stitches, i was stitched up like a ragdoll at 5 with no pain medication, i swore i'd 'deal' with any injuries i recieved after that... and i've had some pretty bad ones, i even slit my wrist once (punched a window), really had no idea if i had severed the vein or not, but i wasn't going to the damned hospital, a month, shitload of guaze, neosporin, butterfly closures and pain medications later, it's fine, not the only really severe cut i've got tho.

I know, im tired as shit now, and when they said, now try and stay awake for about 24 hours i said, are you sure you've given me the right meds and she went away, came back and said yeah...

Well, its the britsh NHS... It's free, what more can i ask for lol

You know when you bang your head and feel sick, im starting to get that now, but then again, its probably the heat aswell getting to me.

and i know what you mean slipknot, i dont normally go to the hospital, cant stand em.

When i was a kid i punched through a window to show off and nearly cut my finger off, or thats what it felt like at the time, in reality it was a little scratch.

one time when i was 4-5 i was playing outside at mcdonalds on those concrete/stone tables/benches they have, and it was raining, i put my hand ont he table and was trying to climb on top of it, but my hand slipped, my face came down pretty damn hard (as i was pretty much running) right on the corner of the table, it not only completely knocked one of my teeth out, it sent it shooting out through my lip, about a 1/2 down from the actual 'lip' part, so i start screaming/crying like crazy and run inside(where my grandma was) she hands me a coffee mug, to catch all the blood in, and we left, later at home, i filled the mug completely full (as in up to the brim) , dumped it out and started filling it again when the blood finally stopped... left a long-lasting scar, i even have to be careful if i shave, cuz the razor will knick it easily...

yea, i don't really ever get sick (cold, flu, ect.) i get hurt, i've always been the type to get hurt >.< i've actually been severely hurt so many times, i can tollerate pain you'd never imagine a human being could (aside from child-birth, i dunno what that's like so i couldn't tell you either way)
