Here the story behind how I got to know him. My dad is a diplomat, so I lived in quite a number of countries, including Switzerland which is where I knew him. I went to an international school with him for 3 years, oblivious to his true identity. The classes were so small we had no choice but to be friends, and he sure was a good one to have. It wasn't until years later I read an article in Newsweek about North Korea and not only was there a picture of him, but knew the exact source of the picture, background and everything. My jaw just dropped. Ever since then, a japanese reporter calls me once in a while to interview me and ID photos and ask me questions, with some hope I can see him again one day.

I'll send you the PDF man. Peace!

By this point you are probably wondering why the hell some pothead is being interviewed for an article on North Korea. My little claim to fame is I was friends with the son of Kim Jong-Il and the article is about the current power struggle going on North Korea, something many Americans, even foreigners known little or care about.
