Grinding Dro

Is is stupid to grind dro? Or does it matter? I just want to roll a blunt of some dro but seems the only way to get it to stay lit is if its grinded...Didn't know if it had any adverse effect on the weed. Probably stupid ass question haha but help a stoner out! :thumbsup:

i couldnt be without my grinder......well i could but i wouldnt enjoy it as much.....u mean as in draw right? or is dro slang for good or bad?

Dro is used as a term for good weed, but it means nothing like that. It's meant to mean hydroponicly grown bud, which is normally quite strong, thus where the term came from for good bud.

And no, grinding does nothing, why would it?

All you have to do is if the crystalls come off in the grinder, just tap it into the blunt

actually LIP grinding does do alot, it kinda depends what your weed is like but if its sticky and stuff your gonna want it pretty small so it burns faster, dont grind it up too much though er else it'll smoke really fast... the finer ground your weed is the more the fire will spread basically

yeah i mean it works and doesnt do anything....except when smoking a bowl...then you can fit SO much more weed in, its so sweet

Grinding your bud gives you more burn surface. Hence, bigger hits, more efficient burning and less packing.

Compare the difference between putting a small WHOLE nug in your bowl and ground bud.

As far as grinding to roll it into blunts, be careful not to grind it too small. Keep in mind that the finer the powder, the less air that will be circulating through it. (and it will burn a bit fast, I baptize my joints and blunts to get past this)

Give it a few twists, pop your grinder open and take a peak!

Oh, and by baptize - I mean I stick half of the joint/blunt in my mouth and get it pretty wet, this lets me get a more even burn going and lets me avoid runs. I hate runs.

not stupid but wasteful. to extend the life of your stash use a pipe/bowl and only load a couple/few hits at a time. cap in between hits and NEVER light the bowl from the center...always light from the edge so if sharing more will get a 'green hit' and if toking alone it'll go out easier/quicker when capped. joints are nice and all but very wasteful, especially if only 1 or 2 are hitting it. and grinding up more than you'll be using for the day will degrade it much faster than if left 'on the vine' and properly stored.

a few good points, but i always use my grinder to grind my herb, and the kief falls to the harvest area for latter harvesting. who says you cant light the bowl from the edge with ground herb the same as you would if you didnt grind the nug? could always put th pipe down when you take a big anough hit, rather than taking 4 from a nugged bowl, and getting the same amount of smoke. jmho
