While it's plausable, at least in my mind I'm not looking for a "drug" forum. There are a number of forums that deal towards that.

Some potheads like transcendental experiences, but are more apart of the cannabis culture. That's my 2cents.

It isn't worth complaining further, I was already aware it's ultimately the owner's decision, he/she can do whatever they want with their money.

ahh.. but that's what seperates you from the 'bitchers' you realize there's noting you can do and 'whatever' it rather than draw some long discussion/complaint on it, you also, are posting something other then "you fuckers how dare you close something that is yours" (sorry, again i just had to point out the fact that very few people actually have control/decision over what's happening)

while your points are very valid, there's still nothing we can really do about it but accept it and move on, unfortunately... (there did seem to be alot of people who held that paticular forum for alot more then the rest of us, and i really do hate to see someone so comftorable in one forum, to be forced to move or leave the site all together, especially someone with status such as Nullific and the rest of the cann.com regs.)

I still find myself scrolling down to that section really fast like I used to, but not anymore. It's fine though, I respect any decision made here, and you just gotta deal with it and move on. I will say that if this "non-cannabis" talk rule is true, then why in the hell do I already see threads like "Do steroids give you acne?" I don't care either way, but if a rule is made, make it apply to everything.

to me, other psycotropics arent drugs
to me drugs are manmade or purified chemicals
while theres a lot of harmfull "drugs" out there, there is also a lot of harmless "if used right" entheogens out there
would you rather one of your kids go buy crack or heroin on the street because they werent properly informed?

just becuase ONE forum, on ONE site closed down hardly justifies everyone will be mis-informed, 2nd of all, i will inform my kid, of any and all drugs, i'm not going to conviently hide shit from them, as alot of parents authoritive figures seem to do today, when and if my kid asks me about Tripple c's (for example) i WILL tell him it's the most amazing high I have ever had, i also won't keep from him the real dangers, and exactly what it does to your body, hid from him. i want my kid to know EVERYTHING he can possibly know about a drug, rather than just tell him what's convienent for my stand point(view i see drugs as whether it be against them, neutral or for them.)

that's because the rule isn't true, while things will be taken more seriously and more topics/threads will be removed, even the new owner(s) (sundance i'm pretty sure?) has said himself/herself that other drug talk will be tollerated, just not as much as before.


oh yeah, something i forgot from my last post, to the right people, even cannabis is a drug, and someone's already confirmed this site is becoming more parent/LOE friendly, while you may not view them, or even cannabis as a 'drug' other people do, and if you read back over this last line, you will see cannabis.com is becoming more 'acceptable' to them, if that means a forum here and there, or even free speach needs to go, then so be it, maybe the rest of you don't want legalization in the long run, alot of us, with mature sights in goal, DO, again, if you don't like it here, leave, otherwise, stop already you aren't doing anything stirring up debate that is going to help absolutely nothing.

None of the MODS here are Nazis and there really is no reason for name calling. This is not a action done by the MODS it was carried out by ADMIN, and at the end of the day its their site so its their call on how they would like to see it run. It is cannabis.com, i can understand why theyd want to limit discussions to only cannabis, especially considering the "gateway drug" myth that is so prevalent with mass media.

This is good for everyone because it makes cannabis.com more "radio friendly" and will boost traffic to less popular drug specific boards across the web (i.e. shrooms.com, lsd.com ect)
