This is what I was shown to do. Cut the plant at the base and hang the whole thing upside down, in the dark & in the cool. The next bit isnt sraight forward; before you hang it up look at the colour of stem where you cut it. It will look lime green. As the plant dries out over the coming days the lime green 'ring' will reduce in size. I occassionally snip another segment from the base and have a look, or after 4 days fetch a lesser side bud off and look at its stem. When all but a tiny speck of lime green is left, the moisture is all but gone. I then trim up the plant for smoking. Oh, & I dont water over the last 48 hrs so the plants pretty dry to start with. This is what ive done with plants grown outdoor in pots, my 1st indoor crop will be ready soon and i'll be doing the same with that. It works for me. Ive never cured.
