would it be good to add this when a plant is flowering, ive heard your bud is more likely to get mold when it is in the flower stage?

    Hot Pepper Spray

Never/Rarely ever spray the plant itself or the bud for that matter because in flowering the plant is very vunerable to mold, adding water would just up the chances of your plant moulding. Also avoid spraying the plant if there is direct sun light, water is reflective and this will easily burn your plant/flowers. Best bet for repelling pests is Grit and Salt around NOT on the plant, and if you are wishing to repell animals eg/ deer then y not put up some chicken wire or a bit of netting.
