People always say to chop the whole plant and hang it - what about chopping the cola, then some of the more finished buds and let some others finish out? ive heard of this, but why do people keep insisting that the whole plant must be taken at once?
also, my last harvest, i let it dry for a good 5-6 days before into jars, and it became very dry and burned quickly. i want more of that "sticky nug that will burn forever" type deal...i dont want it soaking wet, but still to retain some moisture, so that it doesnt all burn up in 2 mighty hits. but from what i read, everyone pretty much "super dries" it, that is the end product being very dry.narcoticrex Reviewed by narcoticrex on . No one insists the whole plant must be cut at once.
Alot of people will harvest in stages, so the buds all get as mature as each other. The only thing is you have to make a clean cut in the stem, and not cut too much.

Well, LIPs covered the harvest side of things, so Ill cover the drying/curing side...
An easy way to make the buds nice and moist again. Stick them in a mason jar (or other airtight container) and bung in a little piece of orange/banana/apple peel, making sure that it DOESNT touch the bud. Leave for between 12 and 24 hours, and ittl be nice and moist again. Dont leave too big a piece in, and dont leave it in for too long otherwise the bud WILL go mouldy. Its best to check it every few hours, then you can have it as moist as you want. Replace the peel if needed. Also, your bud will have a slight smell of orange/banana etc, some people say it tastes like that afterwards aswell but I dont find that it does. I suppose it just depends on how sensitive yer tastebuds are.
