rockwool in tubs
if you are using rockwool cubes .3.5,s i think their the size of a rubics cube s
if you put them in say a cut 2 litre milk carton ,can you put a 1/3 inch of water at bottom all time ,ie keep topping it up or is this to much water for the roots to sit in etc

Kind of too much for the rockwool. It wicks water up and Drowns the root ball. The main stem will rot off.

Yup what loc say's is about right. Why not build a DWC setup? Or pick up a real hydro system?

That might work with some clay pellets, but it is too much moisture for rockwool. Rockwool sucks, by the way. It loves to make your plants rot and drown.
