    Dogs vs. Cats

Dogs exhibit a diverse array of coat textures, colors, and markings, and a specialized vocabulary has evolved to describe them.

Originally, dogs all had dense fur with an undercoat and long muzzles and heads, although both of these features have been altered in some of the more extremely modified breeds, such as the Mexican Hairless and the English Bulldog.

    vs.

Cats are members of the family Felidae. They are the most strictly carnivorous of the nine families in the order Carnivora (which include dogs). Cats are capable of about 100 different vocalizations, compared to about 10 for dogs.

All felines, the small domestic cat included, are superpredators capable of destroying almost any creature smaller than themselves. Cats can hear much higher-pitched sounds, even better than dogs.

dogs are more friendly to me on average than any cat...

yet dogs do tend to bite every now and then making cats a safer pet.

also dogs will try to hump lil children if given the chance...ive never heard of a cat raping a kid

Many zoologists believe that the feline is the most sensual of all mammals. While its smell and hearing may not be as keen as, say, those of a mouse, its highly advanced eyesight and superior (by human standards) aural (sound) and olfactory (smell) senses combine with highly evolved taste and touch receptors to make the cat arguably the most sensitive of any mammal.

The dog is descended from the wolf. Most bitches come into season for the first time between 6 and 12 months, although some larger breeds delay until as late as 2 years.

Cats are amazing. Here's a quote from a book called "Catlore" by the famous philanthropist Desmond Morris:

I love facts like the blind musician one. And cats' huge vocabularies are for talking to their owners with, and getting them to pet them, feed them, or kick them out the back door.

Maybe, if we could speak "Cat", or "Dolphin", we'd be masters of the mind.

i choose dogs anyday, far more loyal and will love you no matter what

unless your one of those nasty ppl who don't deserve to have a dog :cursing:

Cats have a tendency to do as they please, come and go as they like. (hmm kinda like teenagers )
