When I buy weed it's always in a bag with buds, nugs or shake. In cheech and chong when the sell their weed its like in the shape of a straight rod. How the hell do they get theri weed like that?

I don't know but I just found out that Chong had a daughter, and she played in Beat Street, and I just to have a crush on her. I wonder how she looks now though... Carry on...

not sure but i think some herb may grow and look like that on the ends of the stalk.... or maybe their dealer was lazy as hell and didn't feel like trimming so he just gave them big ass plants...

I know that in some countries they do this sort of thing, but with hash. When its ready to be sold, the grower packs the kief in a bamboo shoot, and sometimes its so well made that you can actually smoke the hash straight out of the bamboo.
Apparently.
Anyways, I remember them saying in the films 'You want some Thai stick?' and then Cheech will pull out a stick covered in bud.

Well, if were talking about hash then rolling hash into rods is a normal thing to transport it. On Trailer Park Boy's they roll the hash into rods and put it in the handles of shopping carts... Now thats smart.

And if its weed, then its just a long nug.... That's how the plant grows.

Thai Stick was popular during the late 60s and early 70s. It was premium buds of seedless marijuana that were skewered on marijuana stems. Several rows of string found in the stalk of the marijuana plant were then used to tie the marijuana to the stem and keep it in place.

The real stuff was very potent compared with the marijuana that was available at the time. Two or three tokes of Thai Stick would produce the same effects as smoking a joint of regular weed. It was popular and available most places, at least occasionally, until the late 70's.
