I'm waiting to hear from my buds back home when the service will be. I really worry about his wife and how she'll handle things now without him. Luckily, she has both her parents and his parents nearby, so they can help with the kids while she takes care of things.

Evidently he has known for awhile that this was coming and never told anyone, not even his wife or parents. He didn't want them to be overly worried. So while this was very sudden for all of us, he's had this burden on his shoulders for several weeks and kept it to himself. Thanks for all your kind words. Have a great Sunday with your families!
